Donn is a true entrepreneur, with a natural instinct to spot unique opportunities and the perseverance to turn ideas into reality.

Donn combined his investment knowledge gained as a Prudential agent, experience with foreign markets via his family export business, and skill in the real estate industry to purse cutting edge foreign and domestic projects with high growth and high yield rates.  The result of which has culminated in the creation of DLM Capital Investors, LLC, a company which allows Donn to follow his true passion of helping build strong communities and empowering others to do the same. 

Donn began his career and understanding of investment products in the 1970’s as a Prudential Insurance Agent. During his tenure with Prudential, Donn gained insight into the thought process behind Prudential’s investment decisions. It was there he discovered a knack for investing in terms of what markets to invest in, what products to support, as well as the most important lesson of all, when to invest in what.

Donn then left Prudential in order to work along side his older brother and take his grandfather’s business of dealing in hides and skins to the next level. Donn began exporting beef hides, wild animal furs, sheep skins, and deer skins. It was at this time Donn began investing in foreign markets, allowing his export business to serve as an entry point, and investing in long-term, high-yield projects and products.

While growing his export business and foreign asset base, Donn also reverted back to his Prudential days by acting as an independent fiduciary and consultant regarding domestic investments. Donn became involved in domestic projects similar to today’s hedge funds as well as funding business ventures and real estate ventures including residential, commercial, and mixed use projects. 

After 30 years as an entrepreneur and investor, Donn founded DLM Capital Investors, LLC in 2006 in order to utilize Donn's accumulated investment wealth for a variety of development projects on a global basis. It is this passion that has driven him over the past 30 years, and he is excited to embark upon DLM's cutting edge projects set to begin in 2008.
